Welcome to RichardSilberg/VO
With decades of experience as a performer, storyteller, and educator, I bring a deep passion for language, narrative, and communication to every project. My voice-over work spans documentary narration, e-learning, and character-driven performances, including storytelling and narration for an Academy Award-nominated short documentary. Trained at Voice One Studios, American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and The California Shakespeare Festival, I’ve built a career rooted in storytelling and performance.
My voice is smoky, warm, and confident, carrying a storyteller’s rhythm that draws listeners in. Whether narrating a documentary, voicing an immersive learning experience, bringing a brand to life in a commercial, or crafting distinct characters in an audiobook, I deliver performances that are both engaging and authentic. With a background in film, television, radio, and live performance, along with experience as a public speaking and storytelling coach and international educator, I know how to connect with an audience and create meaningful experiences through voice. Working from a broadcast-quality home studio, I bring professional-grade recordings to every project—ready to elevate your story with clarity, depth, and emotion.
Your story deserves the right voice. Let’s work together to bring it to life.
These 3 voiceover samples, recorded in my home studio, offer a glimpse into the storytelling approach used in the National English Curriculum I created for Timor-Leste’s Grade 7 student textbook—designed to support comprehension, engagement, and language learning. They also highlight my home studio setup.
